BIO:

Liverpool born producer/DJ Erik Christiansen needs little introduction. As owner of respected label, NastyFunk Records, Erik’s passion for music transcends genres, including house, techno or anything between.
His productions have included the uber-popular, Cosmic Girl on Playperview Records, which dominated the DJ sales Charts for months and gained airplay on UK BBC Radio 1, hip-house classic, Now Is The Time and acid house hit, Blotter (Where’s My Snare).
His remix resume is just as impressive with Erik stamping his distinguished sound worldwide on labels like Resonance Records (BR), PopArt (BR) and Frequenza (IT); as well as vinyl labels like Powder & Louder (Berlin) and memorable edits for renowned artists like Kreature and Rafael Cerato amongst others.

Since early 2013, amongst a number of DJ Residencies, Erik has toured Asia, America, Africa, countless cities in Europe and all over the UK, with international DJ sets as headliner or playing alongside artists such as Kolombo, WaFF, Miguel Puente and Amine Edge & DANCE, which has really helped his individual style flourish.
His recent remixes on NFR, Let Me Freak, and Where Do Ya Wanna Be, gained great support from his peers and press, becoming secret weapons for the last months.
Forthcoming remixes, an album and a few originals on some significant labels are soon to drop, whilst NastyFunk Records has fantastic release schedule in the pipeline.
